vijay-160x3002014 was a whirlwind of a year, wasn’t it? (Maybe it’s just me, as I think I was travelling for about 95% of the time!) We have all been very busy over the past 12 months. Last year we focused a great deal of time on expanding our portfolio of product offerings to ensure we can continue to meet the challenges of today’s organizations. This year we focused on delivering the full breadth of our solutions and services – including our new offerings BOARD, NetSuite, Tableau and Workday – to more organizations across Canada and around the world. Our Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics CRM and SharePoint teams took the opportunity to work with our Caribbean clients, especially as the days became colder for us in Ottawa!

This was a milestone year. In February we celebrated our first quarter-century in business. It was a very proud moment, and we were honoured to have so many longstanding clients and friends there to mark the occasion with us. To further commemorate this milestone CRGroup made a cash donation to the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE), a local initiative that focuses on education, technology and business – themes we are passionate about.

It was a gold for emPerform. CRGroup’s highly-acclaimed talent management solution, emPerform, was awarded Gold in ‘Best Advance in Talent Management Technology for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses’ by Brandon Hall Group. This recognition is well-deserved as witnessed by a significant number of new clients across all sectors. We have emPerform clients spanning all of North America as well as the Caribbean, UK and India – a truly global product.

Our team expanded, from coast to coast. This year we added new offices to meet the growing demand for our business expertise and solutions across the country. We were pleased to welcome Rakesh Jain, CA and Ross Tulloch, CMA, who opened our Halifax office, and Chris A.R. Lythgo who now runs our Vancouver office. We also forged an exciting partnership with Mastermind Solutions, a management consulting organization based in Toronto that provides complementary services to ours. Alexandra Psica continues to lead our Toronto presence. In Ottawa, we welcomed four new members to the CRGroup team.
